We have found that signal blocking "Faraday bags" are not reliable in preventing this type of attack. In order to be effective, a solution should be certified by an independent, third-party testing lab such as a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL). If the solution you are considering does not have this certification, it may provide a false sense of security.

On the 8th of February 2022, so called "relay attack thieves" or better known as car criminals struck again in Saarland Germany. This time the crooks were able to steal a BMW M2 Competition in Wadgassen and it only took a few minutes.
