Case: CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 Silver

Basically I'm running a multi-monitor setup and my GPU is overheating most of the time even in idle mode (60+ degrees). Here's screenshots of the values I'm getting;

Dual-Monitor Idle Values [both t240 (over DisplayPort using a DVI to DP converter) and 2233 (over DVI) on]

Single-Monitor Idle Values [only t240 (over DisplayPort using a DVI to DP converter) on]

So with dual monitor setup, gpu memory clock tops to 1425Mhz in idle with 63 degrees. GPU core is running at 500Mhz (that's understandable as dual-monitors are on). But how come gpu memory clock tops?

I also tried disconnecting one of the displays and gpu-core clock reduces to 300Mhz as expected and gpu-memory clock reduces to 150Mhz which leads 54 degrees in idle. Isn't also lot hotter than it should be?

1) I've just cleaned all my case and replaced most of my fans with brand new ones. My Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Silver has the following fans;
Bottom fan - INTAKE - replaced it with a 60 cfm , 12cm fan.
Rear fan - INTAKE - using a quite new cooler master 12cm fan. Using it as intake as H70 manuals advice so.
Top fans - EXHAUST - 2x 12 cm fans.
I'm also using the cases wind tunnel for gpu.
Given all these, with single monitor setup, isn't 54 degrees is high for my idle 7970?

2) Isn't it strange that in dual-monitor setup the gpu memory clock tops to 1425 Mhz and getting a lot hotter in idle (63 degress). I've found that he had a a dual monitor DP+DVI setup and he fixed it by replacing DP to DVI (he has dual 6870's). Do you think I may also have problems related to this?

3) On heavy-load I see values around 70-83 degrees. Is it all okay?

Şimdi söyleyeceklerim ilginç gelebilir ama sıcaklıklar normal gibi. Çünkü çift monitorde 0.939V veriyor ve 500 MHz kullanıyormuş.(yeni öğrendim.) Yaz faktörü de girince işin içine tek monitor idle 50 normal gibi.

Kartı garantiye gönderirsen 1-2 derece farkedebilir, bu da belki senin karttaki macun sürülüşü falan uyduruk olabilir. (şans işi)

Ben olsam emin olmak için garantiye yollardım. Biliyorum kartsız kalmak da zor ama ben böyle şeyleri biraz kafaya takan insan olduğum için normal.

Sapphire 7970 kullanan bir adamın nisanda dediğine göre kart furmark'ta 78-80 dereceyi görüyormuş, idle ise 55'miş.

İdle 5 derece düştüğünü söylüyor. Firmaların gerekenden 5 kat fazla macun sürdüğünü söylüyorlar ama kartı açmaya gerek var mı bilmiyorum tabii ki.

Ya da MSI Afterburner'dan fan profili oluşturabilirsin. Ama referans 7970'yi çift monitorde kullanınca normal gibi sıcaklıklar. Bir de Furmark yapıp sıcaklıkları koyarsan daha iyi görürüz sonuçları.
