  • Writing a macro in... ACTool!
This short guide will outline a very simple macro "z,r", so don't expect much from it.
I might post more advanced tutorials in the future...

OK, the first thing we always need to do is make the Knight Online Client window become active (so if it's minimised, it'll load up).
This can be achieved via this command:

    Code:
    SetActiveWindow Knight OnLine Client
The syntax (usage) for the SetActiveWindow function is:
    SetActiveWindow {Window Title}

Also, please note that I wrote the window title in its exact case!

Now that you've done that, set your global hotkeys for starting and stopping the macro (Editor -> Preferences -> Global Hotkeys). I prefer the Esc key.

Now we move onto the speed...
For this, we need ObjVar CommandDelay and KeyRate.
It's recommended to keep these commands the same for macros, but if you ~really~ need to change it, do so.

Now we move onto our main part of the macro.

    Code:
    While 1=1
    // Code here...
    End
This nifty piece of coding is used to repeat something infinitely (While 1 is equal to 1, which it always is!)

    So translated.. this means:
While 1 is equal to 1, which it always is..
    Do the following...
Then finish one repeat (End) and begin again until 1 doesn't equal 1 (which will never happen).

The "// Code here..." part is our comment. I'll be putting in lots of comments for the rest of this tutorial.

So seeing as what's inside the While function (can't call it a loop ) is a comment which does absolutely nothing except keeps your code nice and tidy, this won't do anything!

We need to work on the bit inside the While function now...

    Code:
    While 1=1
    Keys z // Press the key z
    Keys r | 100 //Press the key r after 100 ms
    End
As you can see from my comments, the first bit "Keys z" simply presses the button z! In Knight Online of course, this targets a new enemy. How simple is that?!
But wait, this function can get a little more advanced (not much ) by having an AUTOMATIC delay between keys!

"Keys r | 100" simply means press r after 100 ms (milliseconds). Unless it says "0.1 sec" it's all in milliseconds.
Alright, this works ok, but it is way to quick! You can't even attack!

What can we do about this problem? Ah! Put in a "delay"!

    Code:
    SetActiveWindow Knight OnLine Client
ObjVar 10 //Sets the Object Variable to 10
CommandDelay 300 //Sets the Command Delay to 300ms
KeyRate 90 //Set the Key Rate to 90 ms

    While 1=1
    Keys z // Press the key z
    Keys r | 100 //Press the key r after 100 ms
delay 5sec //Wait for 5 seconds before hitting z again...
    End
As you can see, I put the delay in seconds. if I didn't put sec, it would have done 5 ms (very very quick).

So there's our first ACTool macro! Of course, this isn't very complex, because it is a beginner's tutorial, but I tried to use as many different functions as possible to give you an idea of them.

    Writing a macro in... AutoIt!
AutoIt is a pretty neat macro maker, because it is just so very flexible! I'll go through the same macro as in my ACTool guide, but this time, converted to AutoIt.

This short guide will outline a very simple macro "z,r", so don't expect much from it.
I might post more advanced tutorials in the future...

OK, the first thing we always need to do is make the Knight Online Client window become active (so if it's minimised, it'll load up).
This can be achieved via this command:

    Code:
    WinActivate ("Knight OnLine Client")
The syntax (usage) for the WinActivate function is:
    WinActivate ({Window Title}, {Window Text})

Also, please note that I wrote the window title in its exact case!

Now we move onto our main part of the macro.

    Code:
    While 1
    ; Code here...
    WEnd
This nifty piece of coding is used to repeat something infinitely (While 1 basically says "While 1=1" but it's just weird in that respect..., anyway, 1 is always going to equal 1 so it's an infinite loop.)

    So translated.. this means:
While 1 is equal to 1, which it always is..
    Do the following...
Then finish one repeat (WEnd) and begin again until 1 doesn't equal 1 (which will never happen).

The "; Code here..." part is our comment. I'll be putting in lots of comments for the rest of this tutorial.

We need to work on the bit inside the While function now...

    Code:
    While 1
    Send ("z") ; Press the key z
    Send ("r") ; Press they key r
    WEnd
As you can see from my comments, the first bit "Send ("z")" simply presses the button z! In Knight Online of course, this targets a new enemy. How simple is that?!
The same goes for the "Send ("r")" line.

If you wanted to make it "Send" a special character, like for example Enter, you'd need to use:

    Code:
    Send ("{enter}")

Alright, this works ok, but it is way too quick! You can't even attack!

What can we do about this problem? Ah! Put in a "sleep"!

    Code:
    WinActivate ("Knight OnLine Client")

    While 1
    Send ("z") ; Press z
    Send ("r") ; Press r
Sleep (5000) ;Wait for 5 seconds before hitting z again...
    WEnd
So now we can run it, how do we stop it?! Well... lets change it around a bit to make this work!

    Code:
    HotKeySet("{enter}","IsOn")
    HotKeySet("{Esc}","Terminate")

Global $TogglePause = "UnPaused" ; Declares the variable TogglePause

    func IsOn()
If $TogglePause = "UnPaused" Then ;If it is Unpaused
$TogglePause = "Paused" ;Change it to Paused
ToolTip ("Paused...") ;Display a balloon tooltip window displaying its status
    Else ;Otherwise...
$TogglePause = "UnPaused" ;The variable is now equal to Unpaused
ToolTip ("Un-paused...") ;Balloon tooltip displays the current status
    endif ;ends the if function
    EndFunc

    Func Terminate() ;Exit script
    Tooltip("Exiting...") ;Display Exiting... tooltip
    Exit ;Ends the script
    EndFunc

    WinActivate ("Knight OnLine Client")
    While 1
if $TogglePause = "Unpaused" Then ; Only if it's UNPAUSED do the following
    Send ("z") ; Press z
    Send ("r") ; Press r
Sleep (5000) ;Wait for 5 seconds before hitting z again...
    endif ;End the if function
    WEnd
So there's our first AutoIt macro! Of course, this isn't very complex, because it is a beginner's tutorial, but I tried to use as many different functions as possible to give you an idea of them.

    Hope you liked my guide!

  • Bir macroyu yazmak... ACTool!

O, macros için aynen bu emirleri tutmayı tavsiye etti, ama eğer really need to change it, do so sense. Kod: 1=1 anahtar olurken, z, 100 r in, anahtar r'e bastırdığı anahtar z anahtarlarına bastırır, 100 Bayan son sen olarak, benim yorumlarımdan görebildikten sonra, ilk parça "Anahtarlar, z'dir" basitçe, düğmeye z'i bastırır!
