Positivies
Excellent shutter response and startup times
28mm wide angle is very useful
Image quality is good, produces clean photos with good detail
Great battery life – accepts 2 AA batteries as well as proprietary Li-Ion battery
Live histogram in record view, histogram in playback mode
Handy ADJ button makes frequently used settings available, and custom function can be programmed
Auto exposure bracketing
Spot metering available
Manual white balance
Interesting features such as interval timer, and white balance bracketing
ISO 64-800 at full resolution, although ISO 800 exhibits high levels of noise
Negatives
No aperture priority / shutter priority / manual modes
Chromatic aberration / purple fringing is above average
Poor continuous shooting capability
Poor LCD frame coverage
Extremely poor software suite
