Monitör panel bakımı, nudge piksel giderimi

Merhaba arkadaşlar.

Ekranda uzun süre aynı görüntü kalınca TFT ekranlarda (IPS, VA, TN) ve özellikle de oled ekranlarda hayalet görüntü (ghost image) oluşabiliyor.

Ekranlar küçük perdelerin (shutter) açılıp kapanmasıyla çalışıyor. Bu da elektrik ile sıvı kristallerin yatay veya dikey konuma gelmesi ile oluyor.

Ekranda sürekli aynı görüntü kalınca bol miktarda elektrik yükü iyon şeklinde ekranda kalıyor.

İşte hem hayalet görüntü hem nudge/sıkışık piksel sorunlarını güdermek için oldukça basit bir yöntem var.

Ekranın parlaklık ayarını sonuna kadar kısıyoruz.

Varsa görüntü efektlerini (okuma modu, gece modu, yumuşak renkler vb) kapatıp standart renk modunu seçiyoruz

Varsa monitörü R-G-B (red green blue/ kırmızı yeşil mavi) moduna alıyoruz

Bu komut Windows'un shutdown.exe programını çalıştırır ve bilgisayarınız 180dk/3 saat sonra kapanır. Zaten bildirim kısmında da bu bilgi verilecektir.

Benim tecrüben şu şekilde oldu. Bana gelen TFT ekranda (LCD IPS) neredeyse ekran yanığı sayılabilecek bir hayalet görüntü vardı.

sonra bu videoyu denedim. açıkçası çok bir ümidim yoktu. ancak şansıma ekran yanmamış. Ekrandan R-G-B geçirmek sıkışık pikselleri %90 civarı giderdi. Tabii ben bunu defalarca çalıştırdım. Zira hayalet imaj çok fenaydı. Toplamda 50 saati aşmıştır.

Ayrıca siyahlar da diğer renkler de önceye kıyasla daha iyi görünüyor. Demek ki ekran sabit görüntü ile iyice hırpalanmış :)

sevgili dostumuz Sonnet 5.0 durumu şöyle özetliyor:

-Static/sustained images cause ions inside the liquid crystal layer to drift and accumulate on one side of the pixel, since the driving voltage isn't perfectly symmetric AC/Alternative Current.

-This creates a residual DC/Direct Current bias (a built-in electric field) that opposes the intended signal.

-Result: the Liquid Crystal molecules can't fully rotate back to their true "off" (black) position — a semi-open state, not a broken pixel.

-This shows up as ghosting/image retention: faint outlines, often gray-ish, in the shape of whatever content sat there too long.

-It's reversible, unlike true burn-in (OLED) or a dead pixel (hardware failure) — the crystal is intact, just electrically biased.

-Fixing it requires driving the pixel through varied, full-range voltages (like RGB cycling) so ions redistribute back toward equilibrium

-It takes signifcantly long time since ion movement is slow (diffusion-limited). (Yani 10 dk 30dk falan yeterli değil saatlerce yapmak lazım)

Elbete hiçbir şeyin %100 garantisi yok, umuyorum ki sıkışık piksel, hayalet görüntü ve belki "ekran yanığı" sorunu yaşayan arkadaşların işine yarar. Bende yaradı en azından.

Not: Ekran fiziksel olarak hasar aldıysa (örneğin kalem ucuyla ekrana dokunulduysa ya da çocuk ekrana oyuncak fırlattıysa) yapacak bir şey yok. Panel değişimi şart. Videodur programdır işe yaramaz. Ama psikolojik açıdn rahatlık verecekse elbette deneyebilirsiniz. Neticede bu işleme para ödemeyeceksiniz :)
