arkadaşın da dediği gibi, bu bir dil. 1 cümleyi farklı şekillerde söyleyebilirsin.
ben olsam bunu kullanırdım kasmaya gerek yok; after the earthquake , the production stopped for a period of time. (neyin üretimi olduğu daha önceki cümlelerde kullamışmıştır diye "the" koydum) -
yukarda arkadaşın dediği gibi burda özne zaten "the production" olur
ingilizcede bilidğim kadarayla bizdeki bigi gizli özne kavramı yok yanlız ortak özneleri olan 2 cümle birbirine bağlanırsa fln o zamn tek özne kullanıldığı yerler olabilir
ama konuşma dilinde yada yazma dilinde bazen "I" (ben) kullanılmayabiliyor
örneğin "gotta go now" yazan biri "I have (got) to go now" yani "şimdi gitmem lazım" demek istemiştir. -

İkinci tarafta tek dogru cevap past tense olur.Past perfect tense'i orada kullanmanın hiçbir anlamı yok.Ayrıca okullarda after baglacı öğretildiginde öncelik sonralık durumu oldugundan afterdan sonraki cümle past veya past perfect tense olabilir ama 2. cümle past tense olmalıdır.Bu cümlede öncelik sonralık kavramında karmaşa var.Eğer bu cevabım seni yeterince GULDURMEDİYSE, google'a aynı cümleyi yazmanı var çıkan sonuçları analiz etmeni tavsiye ederim.

Oncelikle yazacaklarimin ozetini geceyim o cumlede asla past perfect kullanilmaz, hele hele after'dan sonraki clause cumlesinde hic olmamis.
past tense yoksa cümlede, past perfect durup dururken kullanılmaz. past perfect zaten 2 cumle varsa hangisinin daha once olduguna aciklik getirmek icin vardir. cok Turkce dusunmeyin, yani sadece past perfect -misti anlamina gelir deyip her yere koymayin.
zaten past perfect native'ler tarafindan cok cok az kullanilir fark ettiyseniz dizilerde de nadir rastlarsiniz.
liselerde ogretilme tarzi zaten cok komiktir, sadece after ve before'da nasil kullanildigini anlatirlar.

Öncelikle "production" 'dan kastınız ne? Şehirdeki bütün üretim mi durdu? Yoksa belirli bi yerdeki üretimden mi bahsediyosunuz? Eğer , atıyorum belirli bir fabrikadaki üretimden bahsediyorsanız "the production" demeniz lazım. Yok değil, ben genel üretimden bahsediyorum o çevredeki diyorsanız da "productions" demeniz gerekli.. Hiçbir belirti ibaresi bulunmayan "production" kullanımı yanlış olur..

Kusura bakma ama önce düşüncelerini ifade etmeyi öğrenmende fayda var.Şurda nediyorsun "daha oncede soyledigim gibi , kullanmak istedigin yere gore normal yada daha kibar bir sekilde yazabilirsin..." past perfect tense'i bu durumlarda mı kullanırsın?Bana kanıtla dedin, bende sana kanıtladım.Aynı cümleyi yaz google'a kaç tane sonuç çıkıyor gör diyorum.Madem dogru nedenleriyle kanıtlarıyla açıkla.Bende 3 yıldır ingiliz dili ve edebiyatı bölümünde boşuna okuyormuşum diyim.
