I have been scammed once. help!
That is ridiculous but it happened first time, today. in 3 years. this guy has stolen my lc arcana. i talked to him before that ♥♥i♥♥ about an hour however, he cheated!
i can't believe there is no mechanism on Steam to make the trade safe for either side. This is horrible! i have done over hundreds of trades in peace so far but this time...
report this guy. I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED IN TRADE FIRST TIME. he has stolen my lc arcana .

that's all you see. i just tried to show you all the moment and the chat window as much as possible. cos that evil did not accept to trade 1 vs 1 first. what i want was a gift and really on his inventory (gta v region free gift)
edit : his item was only giftable and i had checked that it was really on his inventory. region free gta v gift. however, he did not admit to go 1 vs 1 on trade. the problem is, my item was both tradable and giftable. his was only giftable which made the cheat on me.
i have been scammed please help. (part 2)
i have been on Steam world for above 3 years. i have traded so many items without any issue until yesterday night when i have been deceived.
As you well know, there are tradable and giftable items. Giftable items do not appear on the trade window which opens the way up for wicked members.
If you are gonna swap items, you are supposed to count on the person you are negotiating. Also, Since this gift system has been enabled, i notice loads of trades which says "i won't go first". In this matter, there is a vital problem with reliability.
Perhaps it won't be an evidence to expose the truth and punishing the criminal but i'm gonna share the moments of trade as far as i remember.
Trade steps has occurred as ;
1) As usual, i was looking for something to have on dota2lounge. that time i noticed that many people are willing to trade their gta v gifts with dota2 arcanas as well as items which cost as much as them or equally. i tried a few people and only this guy responded to me. i also checked that if he owned gta v. he owned yes. (he had launched a trade on dota2lounge)
2) i have befriended him through dota2lounge. he greeted me on Steam afterwards. We started to chat. he asked me if i was seeking gta v. i confirmed him and then i made my proposal. he told me that he won't go first.
3) i reciprocated to him as he did and i did not admit to go first. i was searching a way to make the trade reliable for either side. i asked him if its region free. he approved me. i checked once again. then i wanted to know, what changes if that's not region free. any tag, description etc.
4) and he was not able to persuade me almost an hour. i offered him to swap
my 2 unopened bundles with his gta v and then i would get ready to trade my arcana. he did not trust me.
5) after a long conversation, i gave up and relied on him by thinking hes gonna steam gift me once i trade my arcana. before that, i warned him like this : "if you ever get the arcana and disappear, i will not leave you in peace" and then i added "hope you won't disappoint me and make a fair trade". he responded to me like this "do you really need voodoo curse, stop it!"
i asked him how to make the trade fair and without fraud". he also offered me a middle man option and persisted like this "i'm not forcing you to do this." i told him that i do not need a middle man and pay to him first.
furthermore, i expressed him that could Steam punish him if i ever get cheated by him. he showed me Steamrep but i was sure it won't do anything.
6) and i failed. he said "finally". i approved the trade looking bullllllshit by 2 step verification by thinking hes gonna give me as well. and then he is gone.

tum Steam Comm.yi ayaga kaldirdim. Sen de vermeseydin diyorlar. her sey bu kadar basit yani.

Forumdaki tecrübelilerden sayılırsın çok basit güvenme ya. Verdiğin şey arcana tanımadığın biri neyine güvenip veriyorsun. Dota içindeki forumdada aynı muhabbet önce sen yok önce sen sonra xxx dolandırıcı ... Geçmiş olsun ne diyeyim _____________________________ -

Hiçbir şey yapamazsın, hiçbir şey iddia edemezsin kendi hür iradenle trade'i iki kere onayladın, sonra gittin bir de mail adresinden onayladın. Bunun adi salaklik degil. 3 yil hicbir sorun yasamadim... taa ki dune kadar. o da neredeyse 1 saatlik gorusmeden sonra oldu.
