  • Bir fan club açayım dedim destek gelir diye düşündüm.

    Aerosmith, 1970 yılında Steven Tyler'ın öncülüğünde kurulan Amerikan hard rock grubu. Gruba "Boston'ın Kötü Çocukları" ve "Amerika'nın en büyük rock and roll grubu" yakıştırmaları yapılır. Aerosmith'in stili blues tabanlı hard rock tır. Aerosmith; Led Zeppelin, AC/DC ,Deep Purple gibi gruplarla beraber hard rock ın öncülerindendir. Aerosmith, 1970'de, vokalist Steven Tyler'ın gitarist Joe Perry ile bir dondurma salonunda tanışmasıyla kuruldu. Perry, Tyler'a rock-caz topluluğunda yer alması için teklifte bulundu. Tyler ile Perry, yanlarına basçı Tom Hamilton'u da alarak bir üçlü kurmaya karar verdiler.



    İlk konserinden sonra adını Arosmith yerine Aerosmith olarak değiştiren grup, başarısıyla kısa zamanda Boston'un dışına çıkmaya başladı. Grup Max Cansas City'de verdikleri konserden sonra Columbia/CBS Records'la kontrat imzaladı.Aerosmith, 2000 yılında VH1 kanalının "Hard Rock'ın en büyük 100 Sanatçısı" listesinde 11. sırada[1] ve Rolling Stone dergisinin "Tüm zamanların en büyük 100 sanatçısı" listesinde 57. sırada yer almıştır.[2] Ayrıca Aerosmith, 66,5 milyonu A.B.D sınırları içinde olmak üzere; sattığı 150 milyon adet albüm ile gelmiş geçmiş en fazla albüm satan Amerikan rock grubudur[3]
