To anyone experiencing issues with the launcher (application must be closed) please read this guide:
go to the folder "lol-cb3.game_p" (where you installed the game) and open the file "lol-cb3.game_71_XXto71.tocstore.deploy" (XX is current version) with wordpad
look for where it says:
<File>
<FileName>Game\DATA\CFG\defaults\Game.cfg</FileName>
<FileIndex>0</FileIndex>
<DifferenceFile>TRUE</DifferenceFile>
<SourceHash>5D659A869D65015B2D66119D7FBAA9A5CD13 DD 22</SourceHash>
<ResultHash>AA698FD384BD9DD05A1EF28333184EA03B13 08 87</ResultHash>
<Offset>8573018</Offset>
<FileSize>272</FileSize>
<SectionCount>1</SectionCount>
</File>
FULLY DELETE THAT PART
done
to put it simple, it forces the patcher to not CRC/HASH check that file
if you cant find that file or folder, download my fix athttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=7WWHU1WS (if you get an error, wait a while)
MIRROR:http://rapidshare.com/files/43045138...cb3.game_p.zip
expand it to the game folder, so it stays as:
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\lol-cb3.game_p
