ASRock Blazing M.2 PCIe Gen 5 SSD soğutucusu

This Ask GN talks about whether or not M.2 heatsinks and Japanese capacitors are just marketing BS, alongside some AMD items. Ad: Get the NZXT H500 case on Amazon (http://geni.us/eO2eAht) or NZXT's store (http://geni.us/Aa3lOD) Timestamps below! Get the Patreon bonus episode here: https://www.patreon.com/gamersnexus Buy our tear-down teal shirt here: https://store.gamersnexus.net/products/teal-anniv-triblend TIMESTAMPS: Vega Features & Feasibility 01:44 - ulamss5: “Why are you willing to answer a lawsuit question on Nvidia, but not AMD? AMD heavily advertised Primitive Shaders/Discard, and HBCC for the Vega architecture, none of them materialized in the current discreet Vega cards. I've been asking for months but you refuse to touch this subject?” Do M.2 Heatsinks Actually Kill SSDs? 06:15 – Prayden: “#askgn-questions It has been mentioned that M.2 NVMe heatsinks may cause degradation to the drives in some form. Would using an M.2 heatsink (such as the one from EK-WB), mainly for aesthetic purposes, have an appreciable negative impact? What degrades, what processes are impacted, and how does it progress over time? Would it be safe to use them in a showpiece gaming system that is on and near idle most of time?” Is AMD Losing Long-Term to Intel & NVIDIA? 11:16 - Bitter Cynic: “#AskGN Is AMD still losing in the long term because of how irrelevant their progress might be to the mainstream users due to GPU and RAM prices? Personally I'm disappointed with how the potential of Ryzen and Vega ended up squandered instead of being picked up by a large portion of gamers forcing the prices of both old and new Intel and Nvidia parts to drop.” Visualizing Airflow with Smoke? 17:19 - jbryan09100: “For Ask GN: Have you guys looked into the possibility of visualizing air flow through cases i.e. using a small "smoke" generator like they use in wind tunnels? Would be pretty cool to see how mesh tops affect air flow from front mounted fans visually and compare it to hard data you collect in thermal testing as an example. Thanks for the great content as always” Japanese Capacitors: Marketing or Genuinely Better? 18:40 - Rusty Shackleford: “Steve I couldn't help but notice on the back of my motherboard's box it says they're using superior Japanese capacitors. Is this because they are quality capacitors from their respective company or just an odd marketing tactic?” Liquid Metal’s Interaction with Copper 20:13 - Jeff Lima: “Hey Steve, I just saw an older video you made about Rockit Cool's copper IHS plate for Intel 1151 and how you tested it with Conductonaut. That got me thinking about how copper tends to react with liquid metal in a bad way. Have you had any bad experiences with it? Some reports say the reaction is only happening above 80ºC, others say it's at any temp and it's severe. I'm rocking a 8700k with a Kraken X62 and at any stress test, it quickly hits thermal throttling even at 4.7ghz and stock voltage, so I'm really considering delidding it and replacing the paste, along with the IHS. Your thoughts?” How Has Channel Size Changed Your Job? 22:25 - Nelson Pena: “QUESTION: What are the things you've noticed that get harder or easier as the size of your channel increases? and do you think it's the same for other channels and other types of channel(example: science, makeup or entertainment channels)?” Noctua is Great at Parties 25:18 - el 01: “#AskGN (off topic, for memes) I wonder what Noctua Computex parties are like... Classical music, people walking around drinking 90% purified water, very quiet, and Noctua engineers showing off their fancy stuff. Silent auction of various Noctua products.” Thanks to PC Per for contributing an answer! Like our content?
