  • 8)-Strong affirmative action is openly using race or gender or disability as a determining factor in employment acceptance but weak affirmative action is not openly using it. Pojman criticizes strong affirmative action.

9)-People need role models which are their kind of people. This makes us be encouraged or its inspires us. Pojman thinks that we don't need people exactly like us to find inspiration or be encouraged.

10)-Thomson argues that in at least a certain range of cases , preferential hiring is not unjust. Thomson's central case is specifically one where several candidates have presented themselves for a job and where all are equally qualified for that job.

11)-Many who favor preferential hiring see race or sex as a qualification itself. Blacks learn better from black instructor and women learn better from a women instructor.
  • 13)-Suffering and death from lack of food , shelter and medical care is bad. Singer argues that if it is in our power to prevent something bad from happening without sacrificing anything morally significant , we ought to do it.
