Evet adından anlaşılacağı gibi bilgisayar uzerinden stream MKV dosyaları gayet iyi oynatıyormuş,henüz mkv denemedim ama h264 vob dosyalarımı gayet akıcı oynattı altyazı desteğide var valla süper bir şeye benziyor.İnternet radyoda varmış yabancı forumlarda herkez sevinç çığlıkları atıyor :) .

Ps3 kullanıcılarının artık tsmuxer,mkv2vob ile uğraşmasına gerek kalmadı gibi gozukuyor,hatta popcorn yada wd beklemesinede :)

Transcoding on Windows
2 possible methods:

A) Using the server "as is": No codecs pack to install, it will use Mencoder for the transcoding part.

B) Using Avisynth/FFDshow. Paired with CoreAVC, it's quite efficient with multi cores.

# 1- If not already done, get and install a codec pack with ffdshow. My favorite is CCCP Codec Pack
# 2- Get and install AVISynth 2.5.7 (I've met some framerate problems with 2.5.8 betas)
# 3- Set up the FFDShow Audio Mixer to 5.1 (3/0/2 LFE)
# 4- Set "Autoload VS Filter" to true
# 5- Configure Haali Splitter for audio/subtitles language priorities
# Optional Codecs: CoreAVC is quite cheap and a good choice for H264 decoding (as FFDshow's libavcodec isn't yet fully optimized with multicores), Quicktime Alternative and Real Alternative are also useful (Apple 1080p trailers for example).

It is awesome. It streams HD mkv files without a hitch with no setup.
So long as your PS3 is plugged into your computer somehow, you should be sweet.
You simply download the file. Extract the folder and run the pms.exe file. Then you setup the folders you want it to monitor and presto.
It streams video very well, and even supports Internet Radio through the XMB!!!
To access it, simply start up PMS, go to Music - Web - Radio and BAM!!!!
I've actually figured out how to add your own web streams.
Open the directory you extracted the files to and locate the WEB.conf file. Change the extension to a text file, and open it with notepad.
Go down to the '#shoutcasts' section and it will have the ones he has already put in.
Each lines goes as follows:
audiostream.Web,Radios=[title to display on PS3],[http link to .pls or .m3u file],[http link to icon to display on PS3]
simply input the bits inside the brackets, save your file and rename back to WEB.conf
